Position Description

The QA Compliance Auditor will perform quality assurance reviews for all Patient Access departments within Baptist Health South Florida, following HIPAA, AHCA, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) guidelines. The role includes coordinating data acquisition and dissemination related to Patient Access to maximize reimbursement. The estimated pay range is $25.00 - $30.25/hour, depending on experience.

Licenses & Certifications
  • NAHAM Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA)
Additional Qualifications
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • CHAA Certification must be obtained within 1 year
  • Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare environment with extensive knowledge of revenue cycle processes (Patient Access, Case Management, HIPAA, AHCA, SOX, Patient Finance, HIM, etc.)
  • Experience with workflow processes, especially in Patient Access
  • Proficiency in PC applications, including Office 365 and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, with excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and implement operational changes effectively
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing work needs
  • High ethical standards and strategic thinking
  • Quick learner of new technologies and software tools
  • Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
  • Ability to understand complex technical topics and specialized information
Experience

Minimum of 1-2 years in a healthcare setting with knowledge of revenue cycle and related processes.
