Description:

To perform quality assurance reviews for all Patient Access departments within Baptist Health South Florida following HIPAA, AHCA, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) guidelines and to assist with coordinating the acquisition and dissemination of data related to Patient Access to maximize reimbursement.

Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree.
  • NAHAM Certified Healthcare Access Associate.
  • HS Diploma or equivalent.
  • CHAA Certification must be obtained within 1 year.
  • Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare environment with extensive knowledge of the revenue cycle (Patient Access, Case Management, HIPAA, AHCA, Sarbanes-Oxley, Patient Finance, HIM, etc.) workflow processes with emphasis in Patient Access.
  • Experience & knowledge of PC applications, including Office 365, Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Must be very detail-oriented, self-motivated, and have excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Highly organized & able to effectively manage multiple initiatives while driving sustainable operational changes.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to perform other tasks as needed in an active work environment with changing needs.
  • Fosters & exemplifies high ethical standards & strategic practices to enhance organizational success.
  • Ability to quickly learn & adapt to new technologies & software tools.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in customer & team interactions.
