Description:
To perform quality assurance reviews for all Patient Access departments within Baptist Health South Florida following HIPAA, AHCA, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) guidelines and to assist with coordinating the acquisition and dissemination of data related to Patient Access to maximize reimbursement.
Qualifications:
- NAHAM Certified Healthcare Access Associate.
- HS Diploma or equivalent.
- CHAA Certification must be obtained within 1 year.
- Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare environment with extensive knowledge of the revenue cycle (Patient Access, Case Management, HIPAA, AHCA, Sarbanes-Oxley, Patient Finance, HIM, etc.) workflow processes with emphasis in Patient Access.
- Experience & knowledge of PC applications, including Office 365, Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Must be very detail-oriented, self-motivated, and have excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
- Highly organized & able to effectively manage multiple initiatives while driving sustainable operational changes.
- Demonstrate flexibility to perform other tasks as needed in an active work environment with changing needs.
- Fosters & exemplifies high ethical standards & strategic practices to enhance organizational success.
- Ability to quickly learn & adapt to new technologies & software tools.
