General Dynamics Electric Boat seeks a QA CLB Analyst in Groton, CT to support rejection control activities for ERs, CRs and CNs. The role requires independent decision-making, strong written and verbal communication, and knowledge of dispositioning technical data within the submarine construction context.

Interactive with multiple management levels, you will use systems like JCALS, EB7F/7G, Teamcenter and MRPII to track and disposition items. Weekend and milestone support may be required.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required, associate degree preferred.
• 1–5 years of QA experience within QA organization or similar.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data systems used for dispositioning.
• Knowledge of Shipyard processes and technical disposition interpretation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Overview

Candidate will serve as a Quality Control Analyst within the Rejection Control organization. Rejection Controls main functions include assessment, assignment, tracking and disposition of Engineering Reports (ERs), Change Requests (CRs) and Change Notices (CNs) to support Ship Certification.

This position requires a working knowledge/understanding of technical dispositions and/or interpretation of technical data to correctly disposition the ER, CR, or CN. This position requires independent decision-making and good judgement skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.

Rejection Control interfaces with many levels of management and functional organizations on a daily basis to resolve issues. Analysts are required to use and maintain several electronic systems such as Microsoft Office, JCALS, EB7F/7G, EWP, Teamcenter, and MRPII.

This position primarily supports CLB/UK liabilities. This position requires flexible work schedules to support weekends, major milestones, and key events.
