We are seeking a detail-oriented Food Safety Technician to support our food safety and quality assurance programs within a fast-paced production environment. This position is responsible for identifying, monitoring, and controlling critical points in the production process where food safety hazards may occur. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, GMPs, HACCP requirements, and company SOPs while coaching team members on best practices and continuous improvement.
EducationHigh School Diploma or GED required.
ExperienceMinimum of 2 years of production experience required.Some knowledge of food processing, food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance programs preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.Strong reading comprehension and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.Ability to work both independently and within a team setting.Strong organizational and active listening skills.Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills.Attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards.
