Job summary

Xpansiv seeks a motivated QA Intern to help build and expand the automated testing framework for the Xpansiv Power platform. Reporting to a Product Manager, you’ll work with QA, Engineering, and leadership to improve quality, coverage, and release reliability.

You will contribute to automating tests for backend APIs and web UI, manage non-production test data, and document testing practices. This internship provides hands-on experience in quality engineering and software delivery in energy

Qualifications

• Pursuing undergraduate or graduate degree in CS/SE or related field.
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, C#, Java or similar language.
• Foundational understanding of SDLC and software testing concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product, QA, and Engineering to design automated testing solutions.
• Develop, maintain, and improve automated test scripts for web UIs and APIs.
• Define processes for non-production test data, test accounts, assets, and environments.
• Create and maintain automated functional, integration, and regression tests.
• Review results, document defects, and support troubleshooting and resolutions.
• Validate new features and releases against requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Document testing approaches, standards, frameworks, and data management practices.
• Expand test coverage across platform workflows with existing tools.
• Participate in team ceremonies and release-readiness activities.
• Share findings and risks clearly with stakeholders.
