Job summary

Uline, a family-owned company, is seeking a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer for the IT department in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. You will shape quality user experiences by building automated tests and frameworks using Playwright, TypeScript, and JavaScript, collaborating with developers and IT teams to raise reliability.

You will integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps) and contribute to test strategy, execution, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field.
• 5+ years scripting in QA Automation Engineering.
• Experience programming with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Proficient with SQL, API testing, Git and Agile.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar test management tool.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance automated test frameworks for web, API and mobile applications using Playwright, TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Partner with developers and IT teams to define best practices and create test cases that improve reliability and performance.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab and Azure DevOps to support continuous testing and feedback.
• Execute and track automated and manual tests, working with developers to troubleshoot issues.
• Document and share automation frameworks and test results, providing actionable recommendations based on findings.
