Job summary

IDR, Inc. is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join our team in Memphis, TN. You will design, develop, and maintain UI automation using Selenium Java and API automation with Rest Assured and TestNG, while validating databases through SQL queries.

You will work in a fast-paced Agile environment focused on cloud-based web applications, contributing to end-to-end testing strategies and hands-on microservices validation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of QA automation experience.
• Proficiency with Selenium WebDriver + Java and API automation testing (Rest Assured / REST APIs / Postman).
• Experience developing test automation frameworks with TestNG and Cucumber.
• Strong SQL/database validation skills, including writing queries and verifying backend data.
• Familiarity with Agile QA, CI/CD tools (Jira/Confluence, Bamboo/Git/Stash), and Scrum environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts for UI using Selenium Java and for REST APIs using Rest Assured and TestNG.
• Build and implement SQL queries and validate databases using automation tools.
• Conduct automated and manual testing strategies for comprehensive end-to-end coverage.
• Perform hands-on testing of Microservices and REST APIs, including automation and integration testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
