Job summary

VySystems seeks a QA Automation Engineer to identify weaknesses in software and work with development, operations, and stakeholders to resolve issues. You will create test cases, execute automated and manual tests, report bugs, and maintain the automation suite.

The role requires independent work, cross-team collaboration, and deep debugging of automation tasks, with a focus on regression and end-to-end testing and data preparation for automation.

Qualifications

• Identify weaknesses and problem areas in the software application
• Work closely with development, operations, support, business partners and other stakeholders to ensure timely collaboration and resolution
• Work independently under minimal guidance
• Identify use cases/scenarios, create test cases, prioritize test cases, execute test cases, and generate reports to report to stakeholders
• Tracking software bugs and investigating the causes
• Troubleshooting automation software issues
• Creating test plans and test summary reports
• Executing regression and exploratory testing as necessary
• Performing functional and end to end testing
• Maintaining the automation suite
• Test data creation for automation
• Understand software internals, debug problems, and automate repetitive tasks
• Analysis of the automation reports (Extent and Cucumber)
• Trigger the automation suite as necessary
