Job summary

TechDigital Group in New Jersey is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to design and implement automated tests for web applications and Android apps. You will build Playwright-based frameworks, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and perform REST API testing with schema validation and data verification.

You'll validate backend data in PostgreSQL and diagnose failures using traces, logs, and screenshots, while continuously improving QA processes and automation practices across the org.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in web application automation testing.
• Ability to design test plans, scenarios and acceptance criteria with traceability.
• Build and maintain Playwright automation frameworks and integrate tests into CI/CD.
• Perform REST API testing including authentication and schema validation.
• Validate backend data using SQL (PostgreSQL) and test data management.
• Diagnose failures using traces, logs, screenshots and stack traces.
• Test Android apps across devices and OS versions with ADB and Android Studio.
• Strong Playwright and Android automation experience with independent work style.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test coverage for web applications.
• Create and maintain Playwright-based test suites and CI/CD integration.
• Execute REST API tests and validate data with SQL/PostgreSQL.
