Job summary

Brillio is seeking a QA Engineer to join our testing team in Dallas. The role focuses on automation, Java-based testing, and API validation to ensure software quality across platforms.

You will design and execute test plans, develop automation scripts, and collaborate with developers, operations, and stakeholders to resolve issues and improve release quality. Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, RESTful APIs, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus, with a passion for building robust, scalable automation

Qualifications

• Identify weaknesses and problem areas in the software application.
• Work closely with development, operations, support, business partners and other stakeholders to ensure timely collaboration and resolution.
• Work independently under minimal guidance.
• Identify use cases/scenarios, create test cases, prioritize test cases, execute test cases, and generate reports to report to stakeholders.
• Tracking software bugs and investigating the causes.
• Preparing automation scripts.
• Troubleshooting automation software issues.
• Creating test plans and test summary reports.
• Executing regression and exploratory testing as necessary.
• Performing functional and end to end testing.
• Maintaining the automation suite.
• Test data creation for automation.
• Submitting Pull Requests.
• Understand software internals, debug problems, and automate repetitive tasks.
• Analysis of the automation reports (Extent and Cucumber).
• Trigger the automation suite as necessary.
