Job summary

Wellabe, Inc. is seeking a QA Automation Engineer 2 to join our team in a hybrid Des Moines, IA location.

You will develop and maintain automated test scripts across UI, API, and integration layers, and contribute to CI/CD testing processes while applying QA standards to improve coverage and release confidence. You will collaborate with Engineering and Product teams, escalating complex issues and supporting data validation through SQL queries.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of Playwright and API testing tools.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with Agile/SAFe delivery models.
• Ability to write SQL queries for data validation.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing.
• Execute functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Maintain test cases and automation scripts based on requirements.
• Collaborate with developers to document and track defects.
• Support CI/CD pipelines with automated tests.
• Participate in sprint planning and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure compliance with SDLC and regulatory requirements.
