Job summary

Optimum, a leader in connectivity across the United States, seeks an SQE I QA Automation Engineer to accelerate end-to-end testing of our web and mobile products. You will help expand coverage to 80% and work with ecomm/agent web, iOS and Android teams.

Reporting to the Quality Engineering Manager, you will develop automated test scripts in Java or Python, maintain frameworks, document processes in Confluence, and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects and ensure stable releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in software development and test automation.
• Proficiency in Python or Java.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Automate end-to-end testing across web and mobile products to improve coverage.
• Develop automated test scripts and frameworks (Java or Python).
• Contribute to knowledge base and documentation (Confluence).
• Identify, document and track defects (Jira).
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and ensure timely fixes.
