Job summary

Optimum Communications Inc. is seeking a QA Automation Engineer I to join the Product Development team in the United States (Bethpage, NY).

You will help accelerate automated testing across mobile products (iOS/Android) and drive end-to-end coverage toward 80%. Reporting to the Quality Engineering Manager, you will develop and maintain test scripts in Python or Java, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with development teams to improve quality metrics while working in a Fortune 500

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3 years in software development, automation, and tools with at least 1 year in mobile automation.
Proficiency in Python or Java.
Experience with Google Cloud or AWS and their capabilities.
Understanding of software methodologies and DevOps practices.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test case automation.

Responsibilities

Automate end-to-end testing across mobile products to ~80% coverage including broadband, video, and support tools.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks (Python or Java).
Support A/B testing of releases across test populations.
Document and share knowledge in Atlassian Confluence for developer tools and processes.
Identify, document, and track defects (Qase/Jira).
Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and ensure timely fixes.
Improve testing practices, tools, and metrics and monitor quality indicators.
