Job summary

Pacer Group is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to advance the CIAM platform within the Information Security & Quality Assurance team. You will drive automated tests for authentication, MFA, and security integrations with external vendors.

You will design API, web, and mobile authentication tests, maintain robust Java-based automation frameworks, and collaborate with product, security, and engineering teams to deliver reliable login experiences.

Qualifications

• Must have Java, Selenium WebDriver automation, and API testing experience.
• Strong CIAM expertise including MFA and OAuth 2.0.
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger) and security testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test strategies for APIs, web apps, and mobile authentication workflows.
• Automate validations for authentication, authorization, login security, and token management.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, product owners, and security vendors to craft test scenarios.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to support the evolution of the Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) platform within the Information Security & Quality Assurance department, reporting directly to the Director of Security Engineering. The successful candidate will drive technical quality assurance to solve complex authentication and security challenges by testing and validating login security, MFA solutions, biometric authentication, risk evaluation services, and integrations with multiple security vendors.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and execute comprehensive test strategies for APIs, web applications, and mobile authentication workflows to ensure high-quality customer login experiences. | Automate validations for authentication, authorization, login security, and token management.
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Development Teams, Product Owners, and Security Vendors to understand requirements, identify test scenarios, and create detailed test cases.
• Perform rigorous REST API testing using Postman and Swagger, validating authentication endpoints, error codes, requests, responses, and integration workflows.
• Execute mobile authentication and biometric testing (Fingerprint, Face ID) across supported devices while leveraging automation frameworks.
• Maintain robust test automation frameworks using Java and Selenium, execute regression and functional testing suites, and support ongoing modernization efforts within the authentication ecosystem.
