Job summary

Xebia is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst in the United States to design and implement QA processes for web, API, and UI applications, using Selenium, REST Assured, and Cucumber with Java or Python.

You will perform functional, regression, and performance testing, conduct API tests with Postman, validate data with SQL, and lead QA activities while communicating findings and risks to the project team.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Computer Science or related field plus 2 years QA/analyst experience.
• Foreign education equivalency accepted.
• Experience in QA roles such as Test Engineer or Software Engineer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements to design QA processes and test strategies.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and UI applications using Selenium, REST Assured, and Cucumber with Java or Python.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing to verify software and performance.
• Perform API testing using Postman and validate data with SQL queries across cloud/on-premise environments.
• Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA; collaborate with development teams for timely resolution.
• Lead QA activities, apply risk-based testing, and prepare detailed test reports.
