Job summary

TheHiveCareers is seeking a QA Engineer to help test and validate product quality across the software development lifecycle. You will design and execute test plans, develop automation scripts, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality releases.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in QA automation, experience with Selenium, SQL, and API testing, and familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies. This role may require extended hours to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related field.
• 3+ years in QA testing automation and development.
• Solid experience with QA automation tools such as Selenium.
• Experience with SQL databases, queries and integration.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience with bug tracking software like Jira, TFS, or Azure DevOps.
• API testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure end product meets minimum quality standards and is user-friendly.
• Develop and execute test plans to meet objectives.
• Implement and monitor test scripts to assess functionality, reliability, performance, and quality.
• Identify and remedy defects within the production process.
• Draft quality assurance policies and procedures.
• Communicate bugs and status to teams clearly and timely.
• Conduct post-release testing and ensure quality throughout SDLC.
