Job summary

CloudIngest is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join our on-site team in Dallas, TX, with additional roles in Pittsburgh, Birmingham, Strongsville, Cleveland, Charlotte, and Denver. This 6–12 month contract role focuses on banking/financial applications, API testing, and test automation within an Agile environment.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Selenium, Karate, Postman, and CI/CD integration, plus SQL, Java or Python.

Qualifications

• Strong API testing experience using Karate and Postman.
• Proficiency with combinatorial test design tools IGNITE and Hexawise.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for web and API apps.

• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines with Agile teams.

The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in test automation, API testing, SQL, and Java/Python, with expertise in modern automation frameworks and test design methodologies. This role requires working closely with developers, business analysts, and DevOps teams to ensure high‑quality software delivery in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web and API applications.
• Create and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Karate, and other automation tools.
• Perform API testing using Postman and Karate Framework.
• Develop optimized test scenarios using combinatorial testing techniques such as IGNITE and Hexawise.
• Validate backend data using SQL queries.
• Execute API integration and end‑to‑end testing across enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
