Job summary

Applaudo is seeking a QA Automation Engineer passionate about building automation solutions for AI-native applications. The role focuses on designing scalable test strategies, validating AI-powered workflows, and partnering with engineering to deliver reliable software in an Agile setting.

You will design and execute automated testing strategies, build API and UI automation, and promote QA automation best practices across teams, while staying current with AI testing methodologies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of QA Automation experience.
• Experience designing and executing automated testing strategies.
• Experience testing AI-powered applications is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute automated testing strategies for AI-native applications.
• Build and maintain API and UI automation suites.
• Validate AI-powered workflows, autonomous agents, and AI-assisted user experiences.
• Collaborate with developers to identify risks and improve software quality early in the lifecycle.
• Continuously improve automation coverage, testing processes, and quality standards.
• Promote QA automation best practices across engineering teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to adoption of modern AI-assisted testing methodologies.

You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience in QA Automation.
• Strong experience designing and executing automated testing strategies.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Experience testing AI-powered applications is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency or higher.

You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities:
