Smart Tech Skills LLC is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to lead the QA automation initiative. You will design and maintain scalable automation frameworks for Windows UI applications and extend automation to web apps, integrating testing into the software delivery lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has expertise in test automation architecture, Windows/Web UI automation, automation frameworks, scripting, QA best practices, cloud technologies, and CI/CD integration.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, evaluate, and implement scalable automation frameworks for Windows UI applications.
• Extend automation to support web-based applications.
• Define automation strategies, standards, and governance.
• Collaborate with QA, Development, Product, and Infra teams to plan roadmaps.
• Evaluate tools via POC initiatives and ROI analyses.
• Develop automated functional, regression, smoke and end-to-end tests.
• Implement data-driven testing, parallel test execution, automated reporting, test data & configuration management.
• Integrate automation with test management and defect-tracking systems.
• Support CI/CD pipeline integrations and automated test execution.
• Establish coding standards and automation guidelines.
• Create automation metrics, dashboards and reporting.
• Support Web UI automation with tools such as Selenium.
• Evaluate tools for load and performance testing.
• Produce technical docs, onboarding materials, and training resources.
• Mentor QA team members and promote automation best practices across the organization.

Position Overview

The organization is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to lead and advance its Quality Assurance Automation initiative. This role will focus on designing, evaluating, implementing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks for Windows UI applications, while extending automation capabilities to web applications and integrating testing processes into the broader software delivery lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in test automation architecture, Windows and Web UI automation, automation frameworks, scripting/programming, QA best practices, cloud technologies, and CI/CD integration. This individual will also serve as a technical mentor and champion continuous improvement across the QA organization.

Key Responsibilities
