Job summary

Caesars Entertainment is seeking a QA Engineer to contribute hands-on to our US Sportsbetting platform. You will deliver high-quality test cases validating functional and non-functional requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify specifications and provide feedback on design and functionality.

The role offers a salary range of $75,000 - $110,000 USD with benefits including health and dental insurance, life/disability coverage, 401(k) matching, possible incentive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Manual QA Engineer.
• Experience testing web and mobile applications.
• Proficient in API/RESTful testing; comfortable in Linux/Unix environments.
• Familiar with CI/CD processes and GitLab; knowledge of AWS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in testing both iOS and Android mobile applications.
• Prepare comprehensive test plans and scenarios from requirements.
• Execute functional and regression testing to ensure software quality and stability.
• Log, assign, and track defects using designated defect tracking tools.
• Communicate testing progress and results with internal and external teams.
• Sign off on new features after thorough testing and validation.
• Conduct exploratory testing to identify issues and potential improvements.
• Contribute to API/RESTful service testing to validate system interactions.
• Leverage AWS expertise to enhance testing capabilities and robustness.
• Work with DevOps teams and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) to ensure smooth deployments.
• Apply risk-based thinking to create effective test strategies.

• Act as a QA engineer, contributing hands-on to our US Sportsbetting platform for Caesars Digital
• Deliver high-quality test cases to validate functional and non-functional requirements of the solution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, clarify specifications, and provide feedback on design and functionality.

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $110,000 USD, which is dependent on several factors including relevant experience, geography, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k)-matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses. This role includes paid Personal Time Off and paid company holidays.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in testing both web applications and mobile applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Familiarity with CI/CD processes, particularly in GitLab.
• Experience with the AWS platform.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for sports, sports betting, online games, or casino games is a plus.
• Experience working with or closely alongside DevOps teams is desirable.
• Proficiency in non-functional testing is a plus.

• Think critically about risk, create test strategies, and validate the quality of testing plans and procedures.
