We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in Functional Testing to join our dynamic team in Dearborn, MI. This role requires a detail oriented individual who can work collaboratively with cross functional teams to ensure the highest standards of quality are met.

• Perform manual testing as needed to complement automated testing efforts.

• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Document test cases, test results, and defects in a clear and concise manner.
• Mentor junior QA team members and provide guidance on best practices in automation and functional testing.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional testing of applications.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
• Perform manual testing as needed to complement automated testing efforts.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong knowledge and experience in Functional Testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python for test script development.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of database testing and SQL.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in QA Automation with a focus on Functional Testing.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery in a fast paced environment.

The pay rangeforthis role is $100,000- $110,000 per annumincluding any bonuses or variable pay. Tech Mahindra also offers benefits like medical, vision, dental, life, disability insuranceand paid time off (including holidays, parental leave, and sick leave, as required by law). The exact offer terms will depend on the skill level, educational qualifications, experience and location of the candidate.
