Job summary

Intapp, Inc. is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to enhance our test automation team and processes.

You will design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications, while contributing to test strategies and including manual testing when needed. You will collaborate across product, architecture, and development, with a focus on Playwright-based end‑to‑end testing, CI/CD integration, and quality metrics.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in software testing, including test planning, test case creation, execution, defect reporting, and issue tracking (typically 5+ years), with a strong focus on test automation.
• Solid understanding of software development principles and Agile methodologies, with hands‑on experience in React (preferred), and familiarity with web technologies such as HTML and CSS.
• Experience in configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing workflows, along with proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Hands‑on experience with Playwright for end‑to‑end test automation.

Intapp is looking for an enthusiastic individual for the position of QA Automation Engineer. This person will make a real impact on the business by helping grow our test automation team and processes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for high quality software and engineering principles with strong analytic, problem solving and programming skills. This person brings a software engineer mindset to this role by using best practices and appropriate design patterns to build solutions for our test automation tools, frameworks, and automated tests.

What you will do:

What you will need:

• Proven experience in software testing, including test planning, test case creation, execution, defect reporting, and issue tracking (typically 5+ years), with a strong focus on test automation.
• Hands‑on experience with Playwright for e2e test automation.
• Solid understanding of software development principles and Agile methodologies, with hands‑on experience in React (preferred), and familiarity with web technologies such as HTML and CSS.
• Expert knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools, covering both manual and automated testing approaches.
• Experience in configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing workflows, along with proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong organizational and time management skills to work across projects, proactively managing competing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills to work in a collaborative environment and participate in stakeholder meetings.
• Familiarity with load, stress, or performance testing tools and methodologies is a plus.
• An understanding of Microsoft Azure & Amazon Web Services is a plus.
