Job summary

M&T Bank requires a QA Automation Engineer to contribute to the M&A portal/dashboard initiative. The role is onsite in Wilmington, DE four days per week with one remote day, on a 7-month initial contract.

The pay rate is $65/hr on W2, and banking experience is a plus. You will design, develop, and maintain automated tests using Selenium with C# and Page Object Model, collaborate with engineers and QA, and perform functional, regression, end-to-end, and API testing.

Job Summary (QA Automation DSC)

• Participate in the M&A portal/dashboard initiative for M&T Bank as a QA Automation Engineer.
• Location: Wilmington, DE Required onsite 4 days/week, 1 day remote.
• Contract duration: 7 months initially, likely extension to 12-18 months.
• Payrate: $65/hr on W2.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with C# and Page Object Model.
• Create, manage, and execute test cases; maintain QA documentation.
• Utilize Zephyr and Jira for test case management, defect tracking, and reporting.
• Develop and implement test planning, strategy, and reporting for functional, regression, end-to-end, and API testing.
• Serve as QA gatekeeper, providing sign-off for releases.
• Must have strong knowledge of QA processes and the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Adapt to flexible scheduling, including supporting monthly evening releases (8 PM 11 PM ET), while maintaining a 40-hour work week.
• Provide two genuine professional references with LinkedIn profiles.
• Banking or financial services experience is a plus.
• Strong overall enterprise QA experience preferred.
