Job summary

Entarian is seeking a Quality Assurance and Automated Tester to support NAVSUP OIS, focusing on verification, validation, and testing of software systems. Travel to Mechanicsburg, PA for planning sessions and potential meetings is required.

Role involves planning, coordinating, and executing automated tests and manual test design across multiple testing levels. The candidate will work with developers, analysts, and requirements personnel to ensure testability and traceability of requirements,

Qualifications

• Must have DOD Secret level clearance to start.
• Certification Requirements: Directive 8570.1/8140 - IAT II: Security+
• BA/BS or equivalent experience and 3+ years software QA and testing experience or Masters or equivalent experience and 1+ years software QA and testing experience
• Experience mapping test cases back to requirements for validation
• Experience implementing automated testing processes with tools such as JUnit, Selenium/Cypress, 508 testing, Performance Testing
• Knowledge of testing business applications and enterprise information systems
• Knowledge of static and dynamic software test activities
• Knowledge of agile or incremental software development life cycle models
• Skilled in creating software test cases, test procedures, test scripts, and test data conditions
• Skilled at mapping test cases to requirements and providing input to generate a requirements traceability matrix
• Ability to assess software products for readiness and determine pass/fail criteria
• Ability to capture test data, analyze test results and clearly communicate findings
• Ability to coordinate and collaborate with software development or systems engineering teams

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute static analysis and dynamic testing of systems/software code to verify and validate acceptance and technical specifications.
• Evaluate the test basis and refine requirements to ensure testability, clarity, and correctness.
• Author and maintain software test cases and procedures per policies.
• Write, design, and execute automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically.
• Conduct test design activities to identify and create test cases (positive and negative) traceable to requirements.
• Develop software test plans documenting test strategy, approach, process, schedule, pass/fail criteria, environment, resources and data.
• Perform regression testing across full operational test scenarios for builds/images delivered to customer.
• Conduct static and dynamic testing across integration, functional, system, and acceptance levels.
• Record and report defects and trace to resolution.
• Coordinate certification test events with end users and stakeholders.
• Maintain test environment and install new software code as needed.
• Support customer demonstrations, data prep and UAT activities
