Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a Quality Assurance Associate at our Aurora, CO distribution center to ensure accuracy, quality, and process consistency in daily shipments and inventory checks. The role suits individuals with warehouse experience who are detail-oriented and committed to safe operations.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse quality assurance experience strongly preferred.
• Prior warehouse, distribution, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize work, manage multiple demands, and meet deadlines.
• Experience operating powered industrial equipment (stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, order selectors, dock stockers) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify materials against paperwork and system records to ensure accuracy.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies with inventory or shipments.
• Support audits and document quality findings.
• Help improve processes to reduce errors and improve efficiency.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines and Ferguson safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team members and support a team-oriented work environment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, participating in ongoing housekeeping efforts.
• Adhere to all safety requirements, including proper use of PPE and fall-protection equipment when required.
• Participate in team meetings and communicate concerns or improvement opportunities to management.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support operational needs.
