Job summary

TransCore in Houston, TX is seeking an Associate QA Specialist to join our team. The role focuses on creating, documenting, qualifying and maintaining System Test Plans and Procedures, troubleshooting test systems, and helping ensure product conformance and manufacturing efficiency. You will collaborate across departments, report test results and metrics, and support production test equipment and data analysis. A High School diploma is required, with 0–1 year of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; AA degree preferred.
• 0–1 year of related experience expected.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and management.
• Strong testing and debugging skills.
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development, deployment, and field support teams to resolve issues and support customers.
• Communicate test results and metrics to peers and management, written and verbal.
• Submit Help Desk Requests.
• Maintain and support production test equipment.
• Analyze transaction data reports and reconcile differences.
• Develop and document System Acceptance Test Procedures, Test Scripts, and Test Equipment.
• Electronically file work orders.
