The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for detail, willingness to learn, and finds contentment in performing repetitive testing tasks with consistency and focus each and every day. As a nice to have, we'd love it if you have experience working with floor plans or assets of a similar graphical nature.

Please note, candidates must be US-based.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and verify floor plans generated from virtual scans (e.g., 3D camera data, LiDAR) for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Cross-check spatial data against reference materials such as original scan files, site notes, or photographic documentation.
  • Identify discrepancies in dimensions, room labeling, layout structure, wall placements, window/door positioning, and other architectural features.
  • Understand complex rules and standards to be able to quickly judge and give feedback to reviewers on their floor plans.
  • Follow structured guidelines and make decisions within ambiguity.
  • Collaborate with customer success and support teams to communicate errors, suggest corrections, and ensure revisions are implemented accurately.
  • Maintain QA tracking documentation, logging issues, metrics, trends, and feedback for process improvement.
  • Develop and update QA checklists and standard operating procedures to reflect evolving accuracy standards and scanning technologies.
  • Perform spot checks and random audits of completed floor plans to ensure ongoing quality control.
  • Work with product and engineering teams to provide feedback on tools and workflows used in scan processing and floor plan generation.
  • Train new team members or contractors on QA best practices and quality expectations.
  • Report on quality metrics, including error rates, turnaround times, and areas for improvement, to management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 1+ years of experience in a Tech, Ops, or QA-related role, or property claims adjusting.
  • Ability to provide clear feedback of a high quality.
  • Experienced and comfortable conducting repetitive tasks on a daily basis.
  • Familiarity with JIRA is preferred.
  • Experience working with floor plans or assets of a similar graphical nature is preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple scans in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with and creating effective escalation procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
