Job summary

Ampa Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Associate to ensure hospital-grade software and the TMS device work seamlessly together. You will manually test Android apps, a web platform, and a neurostimulation device, reporting bugs and ensuring quality builds before clinic use.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of manual testing experience with Android and web apps, plus a mindset for detail, persistence, and clear communication. This in-person role offers meaningful equity and startup benefits.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience manually testing Android apps and web apps.
• Experience with test planning, bug reporting, and reproducible steps.
• Willingness to own the QA process and communicate clearly.
• Interest in hardware-software interaction with biomedical devices.

Responsibilities

• Test the Android app, web platform, and TMS device for functionality, regressions, and overall stability.
• Manually verify interactions between the app and hardware TMS device.
• Execute full QA passes on daily builds across platforms.
• Write clear, detailed, and reproducible bug reports.
• Re-test resolved issues and confirm successful fixes.
• Maintain and update lightweight test plans and checklists.
• Identify and communicate edge cases, corner conditions, and failure scenarios to the team.
