Job summary

The Children's Place in Fort Payne, Alabama is seeking a QA Auditor/ Clerk to carry out the standards set forth in the relevant SOPs for QA and Inventory areas. The role will coordinate with the corporate office to resolve issues.

Responsibilities include auditing shipments for conformance to labeling, description, packing, and routing instructions; measuring weight and carton dimensions; data entry into multiple systems; releasing acceptable shipments; and backing up Administrative Clerk

Qualifications

• Audits shipments for QA compliance and vendor performance.
• Accurate data entry into multiple warehouse systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Communicates QA issues to QA lead and cross‑functional teams.

• Review computer system for labeling, description, packing, packaging, ticketing and pricing information.
• Audit shipments for conformance to shipping and routing instructions and vendor performance.
• Audit product for quality‑visual and functional inspection of merchandise.
• Data entry and recording information into multiple systems.
• Release acceptable shipments and assist with QA rework projects as needed.
• Back up Administrative Clerk as needed.

Location:Fort Payne, AlabamaJob Summary:QA Auditor/ Clerk is expected to carry out the standards set forth in the corresponding Standard Operating Procedures for the QA area and Inventory areas. The coordinator will be a liaison to corporate office resolving issues.Responsibilities:Key Accountabilities:Review computer system for labeling, description, packing, packaging, ticketing and pricing informationSystematically measure weight and carton dimensions as required using Cubiscan processAudit each shipment for conformance to shipping and routing instructions and vendor performance complianceAudit product for quality-visual and functional inspection of merchandiseData entry and recording information- completing applicable paperwork and entering required data into multiple computer systems.Releasing acceptable shipmentsEnsure all boxes are marked and taped prior once audit is completed.Assist with QA rework projects as assignedCommunicate with QA lead on all QA and vendor performance issuesVerify inventorySet up process flow for special projectsCommunicate Store transfers and damages to appropriate work groupsResponsible for Ecommerce supply ordersBack Up Administrative Clerk as neededEducation and Requirements:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Follows guided procedures to ensure all assignments are conducted in an accurate, safe and timely manner.Notifies Lead and/or Supervisor of any irregularities.Establishes and maintains good rapport throughout the department.
