Job summary

MGCB seeks a Software Test Analyst 3 to join the QA team within Agency Services. The role supports modernization efforts, develops and executes test plans, and ensures quality across web-based applications.

You will collaborate with developers, business analysts, project managers, vendors, and clients to validate requirements and manage defects. Responsibilities include coordinating testing activities, producing reports and minutes, and guiding junior QA analysts.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of professional experience in DevSecOps practices.
• Past experience as a tester or with testing tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts based on business and system requirements.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing for web-based applications.
• Review business and technical requirements to ensure they are clear, complete, and testable.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects; work with developers and business teams through resolution.
• Create and maintain test data and validate results against business requirements.
• Coordinate testing activities across projects and provide testing status, risks, and recommendations to teams.
• Assist with production validation, releases, upgrades, and change-management activities.
• Maintain QA documentation, testing evidence, defect logs, and project documentation.
• Recommend improvements to QA processes, testing methodologies, tools, and automation opportunities.
• Provide technical guidance to junior QA analysts and other team members.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure applications meet functional and quality requirements.
• Ensure testing activities comply with security, development, documentation, and quality standards.
• Provide ongoing application support and troubleshoot issues.
