Credence Management Solutions, LLC seeks a mid-level QA Analyst/Test Script Writer to join our DLA team. The role demands test execution for mission-critical systems and converting complex requirements into accurate manual test scripts covering system needs.

The candidate will collaborate with developers, business analysts, and a testing team to validate requirements, identify defects, and ensure timely remediation before deployment.

Qualifications

  • Develop clear, concise, and logically structured manual test scripts that non‑technical users can follow.
  • Document prerequisites, test data, user roles, navigation steps, expected results, and pass/fail criteria.
  • Maintain document control with SharePoint and Microsoft Word.
  • Execute manual tests, record results, capture evidence, and report defects with steps to reproduce.
  • Contribute to testing strategy and guidance on unit, performance, and regression testing.
  • Maintain traceability between requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, tests, and defects.
  • Collaborate with developers and analysts to clarify issues and verify fixes.
  • Prepare and review test data and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop clear, concise, and logically structured manual test scripts that can be understood and executed by users regardless of their technical knowledge or familiarity with the system.
  • Clearly document prerequisites, test data, user roles, navigation steps, expected results, and pass/fail criteria.
  • Maintain document control within SharePoint and Microsoft Word.
  • Execute manual test scripts, document results, capture evidence, and report bugs with clear reproduction steps.
  • Act as a member of a project team responsible for testing requirements and providing technical guidance concerning the testing strategy, implementation in unit and performance/regression testing of the application
  • Maintain traceability between requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and defects.
  • Contribute to the performance of functional, regression, integration, performance, and compliance testing
  • Follow testing strategy and processes, work with tester team members, and contribute to process improvement
  • Log, track, and retest bugs and defects in Jira
  • Collaborate with developers to clarify issues, troubleshoot, and verify fixes
  • Design and execute IT software tests and evaluating results to ensure compliance with applicable regulations
  • Design and prepare all required test data
  • Review test results and evaluate for conformance to design
  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders
  • Contribute to user tester guides for various testing audiences
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team, working closely with development teams, DevOps, UI/UX designers, and business analysts

  • Knowledge of APIs, JSON, and flat file data exchange
  • Understanding of security and compliance testing
Salary Range:

$100,000 - $120,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's experience, education, certifications, skills, and overall qualifications.
