Job summary

BeaconFire Inc. is seeking a Python-focused web developer to design and build scalable web applications using Flask and Django. You will implement RAG-based retrieval systems on Google Cloud/Vertex AI, build agentic workflows, and own code quality through reviews and testing.

Strong SQL and Git skills, plus familiarity with modern frontend integration, are expected. The role emphasizes collaboration, planning, and staying current with Python technologies to deliver production-ready APIs,

Qualifications

• Experience in Python3 software development and testing lifecycle.
• Proficient with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows.
• Hands-on with RAG solutions, embedding and retrieval pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to design and build high quality Web apps using Python, Flask, Django and related technologies.
• Write clean, maintainable code with good test coverage and documentation.
• Design and implement RAG pipelines on Google Cloud / Vertex AI including chunking, embeddings, indexing and retrieval.
• Develop agentic workflows (tool use, planning, reflection, outputs) using Python-first frameworks.
• Perform code reviews, testing, and ensure reliability of applications.
• Participate in planning, estimation, and prioritization of projects.
