Job summary

BeaconFire Inc. seeks a Python Gen AI Engineer to design and build web applications using Python, Flask/Django, and RAG pipelines. You will contribute across the stack, writing clean code and ensuring maintainability.

You will implement RAG workflows on Google Cloud / Vertex AI, develop agentic tooling, perform code reviews and testing, and produce thorough technical documentation while aligning with project plans and evolving Python tech trends.

Qualifications

• Experience in Python development and Python3.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and testing.
• Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Experience with Git and version control tools.
• Experience building RAG solutions (hybrid search, embeddings, chunking, reranking).
• Familiar with agentic frameworks (LangGraph/LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen).
• Solid vector search knowledge and at least one vector DB in production.
• Strong engineering practices: code reviews, testing, telemetry, secure-by-design.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to design and develop web apps using Python, Flask, Django.
• Write clean, maintainable code and ensure quality.
• Design and implement RAG pipelines on Google Cloud / Vertex AI.
• Build agentic workflows using Python-first frameworks.
• Conduct code reviews and testing for reliability.
• Create and maintain technical docs for web apps.
• Participate in planning, estimation, and prioritization.
• Stay updated with latest Python technologies.
• Define evaluations and improve system quality.
• Ship to production: APIs, monitoring, CI/CD, security.
