Job summary

Susquehanna International Group, LLP is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Inbound Clearing team. You will build systems that support firmwide inbound clearing workflows, data pipelines, and real‑time visibility, partnering with Operations, Treasury, and Trading to modernize data feeds and processes.

You will contribute to automated reporting, data quality initiatives, and reconciliation efforts, with a focus on correctness and reliability in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of hands-on development experience with Python and SQL
• Experience building data pipelines or data-intensive services
• Experience with high-correctness systems where data accuracy matters
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently on multiple projects while communicating with stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or related field

Responsibilities

• Re-architect and enhance inbound clearing pipelines to normalize data across asset classes and venues
• Develop and maintain automated reporting tools for financing, margin, cash movements, and exposure
• Drive reconciliation and data quality initiatives for accuracy across positions, balances, and trades
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and iterate on platform enhancements
• Use AI-assisted development tooling to improve delivery quality and velocity
• Support daily clearing workflows and ensure data accuracy used for P&L and regulatory reporting
• Troubleshoot data irregularities and work with Operations to resolve breaks or inconsistencies
