Job summary

Akuna Capital is seeking Python Software Engineer Interns for a 10-week Akunacademy program in the United States. You will join either Post Trade Technology or Data Engineering, collaborating with engineers and traders to design and implement elegant solutions for complex problems.

You will own your project end-to-end, present accomplishments, and gain experience on high-performance systems that process large market data. Strong academics and U.S. work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. in a technical field (Computer Science/Engineering/Math/Physics or equivalent).
• Graduating by August 2028.
• Major GPA of 3.5 or above.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. on the first day of employment including F-1 students using OPT or STEM.

Responsibilities

• Join either Post Trade Technology or Data Engineering teams to design and implement elegant solutions to complex problems.
• Take full ownership of your project and present your work at the program end.
• Work with software engineers and traders to build high-performance systems processing large volumes of trading and market data.
