Job summary

Curotec is seeking a mid-level Software Engineer to independently build and maintain intelligent automation solutions for Revenue Cycle Management in healthcare. The role emphasizes Python development, OpenCV, OCR, and image-based RPA, with Selenium for browser work as needed.

You will own features end-to-end, collaborate across teams, and contribute to scalable, compliant automation. You'll work with Azure cloud services, implement HIPAA-conscious security practices, and help improve process

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Hands-on experience with OpenCV for image recognition and data extraction.
• Experience with image-based desktop automation (PyAutoGUI) and non-API/DOM apps.
• Selenium for browser-based automation.
• Familiarity with OCR engines (Tesseract, PaddleOCR) or cloud document-intelligence services.
• Proficiency with version control (Git).
• Understanding of HIPAA and healthcare security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain OpenCV-driven automations for RCM workflows.
• Own end-to-end automation of legacy desktop applications using image-based control.
• Apply OCR and document-parsing techniques to extract data from scanned documents.
• Build and maintain Selenium-based automations for payer portals and EHR interfaces.
• Deliver robust Python automation scripts with team coding standards.
• Apply AI/ML techniques to enhance automation quality and outcomes.
• Integrate automation with billing software and EHR systems.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy and security regulations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and monitor automations for accuracy.
