Job summary

NTT DATA in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking a Full Stack Engineer (AI & Data Platform) to design, develop, and scale enterprise applications using Python, React.js, and Node.js.

You will implement AI-enabled capabilities, work with Databricks and PostgreSQL, and collaborate across product, architecture, data, DevOps, security, and engineering teams to deliver production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of overall software engineering experience.
• 5+ years in Python development and backend services.
• 4+ years in React.js development for modern web apps.
• 3+ years in Node.js for server-side apps or APIs.
• 3+ years of Databricks experience for data workloads.
• 3+ years of PostgreSQL experience including data modeling and indexing.
• 4+ years in scalable microservices and distributed systems.
• 3+ years implementing enterprise security and compliance practices.
• 1+ year integrating AI/ML or LLM capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance scalable full stack applications using Python for backend and React.js/Node.js for frontend and APIs.
• Build AI-enabled capabilities, including APIs, workflows, model/LLM integrations, and data-driven features.
• Develop robust backend services, APIs, and microservices emphasizing performance, security, and observability.
• Leverage Databricks for data processing and integration with application services.

Day to Day Job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis)

• Design, develop, and enhance scalable full stack applications using Python for backend services and React.js with Node.js for modern web experiences.
• Build and integrate AI-enabled application capabilities, including APIs, intelligent workflows, model/LLM integrations, and data-driven features where applicable.
• Develop robust backend services, APIs, and microservices with strong emphasis on performance, resiliency, security, observability, and maintainability.
• Build data-intensive application components leveraging Databricks for data processing, transformation, analytics, and integration with application services.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL data models, queries, indexing, and application data-access patterns for enterprise-scale workloads.
• Engineer applications for horizontal scaling and high availability using distributed architecture, stateless service patterns, caching, asynchronous processing, cloud-native deployment practices.
• Apply enterprise security and compliance standards across application design, APIs, authentication/authorization, data access, secrets, and secure software development practices.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, data, DevOps, security, and engineering teams to deliver production-ready solutions and resolve complex technical issues.
• Participate in architecture/design reviews, code reviews, performance tuning, production troubleshooting, CI/CD automation, and continuous improvement of engineering standards.

Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required to this job with minimum years of experience on each)

• Minimum 7+ years of overall software engineering experience building and supporting enterprise applications, including hands-on full stack development.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on Python development experience, including backend services, REST APIs, application frameworks, automation, and production-grade coding practices.
• Minimum 4+ years of hands-on React.js experience building modern, component-based web applications and integrating with backend APIs.
• Minimum 3+ years of Node.js experience supporting server-side application development, API services, or full stack solutions.
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on Databricks experience, including development of data processing workloads, notebooks/jobs, integrations, and production support.
• Minimum 3+ years of PostgreSQL experience, including relational data modeling, SQL development, query optimization, indexing, and application integration.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience designing or developing applications for scale using microservices, horizontal scaling, distributed systems, caching, resiliency, performance optimization, and high-availability patterns.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience implementing enterprise application security and compliance practices, including authentication/authorization, secure APIs, secrets management, data protection, and secure coding standards.
• Minimum 1+ year of hands-on experience integrating AI/ML or LLM capabilities into applications, APIs, workflows, or enterprise software solutions.

Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent relevant work experience.

Nice to Have: (But not a must)

• Experience with GenAI/LLM application patterns such as RAG, embeddings, vector search, prompt orchestration, agentic workflows, or model gateway integrations.
• Experience deploying applications to Kubernetes and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker, infrastructure automation, monitoring, logging, and production observability.
• Experience working in regulated enterprise environments with strong security, governance, audit, and compliance requirements.
• Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring developers, and contributing to architecture standards and reusable engineering patterns.
