Akkodis is seeking a Python Quartz Engineer to join a data-focused backend team in Charlotte, NC. This role centers on building robust Quartz trading analytics and risk components for enterprise data platforms, not user-facing apps.

You will work on API integration, containers, microservices, and CI/CD, collaborating with multiple teams to deliver scalable solutions across asset classes such as bonds, swaps, and FX.

Job description

Seeking a Python Quartz Engineer for our client, which requires the Python Developers with strong Quartz experience to join a data-focused development team. This role is centered on backend, head-down development supporting enterprise data platforms rather than building end-user applications. Some experience in core trading platform.

Rate Range: $65/hour to $74/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Description Summary

• Responsible for analysis and development of application on Quartz trading platform.
• Expected to build out and support remote risk stack for various asset classes that Global Funding/CIO desk trade.
• Building out analytics/pricing components needed for FAS133 hedge accounting platform.
• Knowledge or various financial instruments Bonds, Interest rate swaps, Repo and FX products.
• Knowledge of key Quartz components like Sandra, Bob, Hugs.
• Experience of working on Quartz remote risk framework and calculators.
• Drives and participates in design, development of application and work with multiple teams across bank.
• Extensive experience of using design and architectural patterns.
• Understanding of generation of risk and P/L for above set of instruments.
• Advanced knowledge of Python
• Design and development experience in modern technologies such as API management, REST/API integration, Containers, Micro services.
• Experience in Web UI (Angular, Spring) and CI/CD tools
