Job summary

Staffing Spot, Inc. in Dallas seeks a Python Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable applications using Python and a microservices approach. You will develop secure REST APIs with FastAPI, optimize PySpark data pipelines, and implement modern UIs with React.js.

You will containerize and orchestrate with Docker and Kubernetes, collaborate with architects and DevOps teams, participate in code reviews, and drive CI/CD pipelines to ensure performance, security, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent).
• Strong Python programming expertise.
• Hands-on PySpark experience for large-scale data processing.
• Experience developing modern web apps using React.js.
• Strong FastAPI experience.
• Extensive Microservices Architecture experience (Mandatory).
• Strong experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Experience developing cloud-native applications.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps best practices.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Strong software engineering principles and coding best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Python and Microservices Architecture.
• Build secure and high-performance RESTful APIs using FastAPI.
• Develop and optimize large-scale data processing pipelines using PySpark.
• Design and develop responsive, modern user interfaces using React.js.
• Implement and maintain cloud-native applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, DevOps engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Write clean, reusable, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architectural decisions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
