Job summary

Staffing Spot, Inc. is seeking a Python Developer in Charlotte, NC to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications with microservices. The role focuses on Python, PySpark data pipelines, and modern web apps using React.js.

You will build RESTful APIs with FastAPI and deploy cloud-native solutions via Docker and Kubernetes. The ideal candidate has strong Python and PySpark expertise, hands-on experience with microservices, REST APIs, and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong programming expertise in Python.
• Hands-on experience with PySpark for large-scale data processing.
• Experience developing modern web applications using React.js.
• Strong experience with the FastAPI framework.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing Microservices Architecture (Mandatory).
• Strong experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Experience developing cloud-native applications.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
• Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and coding best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Python and Microservices Architecture.
• Build secure and high-performance RESTful APIs using FastAPI.
• Develop and optimize large-scale data processing pipelines using PySpark.
• Design and develop responsive, modern user interfaces using React.js.
• Implement and maintain cloud-native applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, DevOps engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Write clean, reusable, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architectural decisions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
