Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a highly talented Python FullStack Developer to join a fast-paced team in Cupertino, CA. The role requires experience with Python, Flask, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, React, Kendo UI, and TypeScript to deliver scalable web applications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Python development experience.
• Proficiency with Flask – RESTful API design, middleware, blueprints, app factory.
• Proficiency with FastAPI – async endpoints, dependency injection, Pydantic models.
• Experience with SQLAlchemy – ORM modeling and queries.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (pytest).
• 3+ years of React development experience.
• Experience with Kendo UI for React.
• Strong understanding of component lifecycle, hooks, and state management.
• Experience building responsive, accessible UIs and integrating TypeScript in React projects.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API and JSON-RPC 2.0.

Responsibilities

• Develop Python backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Build frontend components using React, TypeScript, and Kendo UI.
• Collaborate on API design and integration with backend services.
• Ensure performance, testing, and code quality with pytest and reviews.
• Contribute to CI/CD and version control workflows with Git.

Position Type: Full-time only

Responsibilities:

• 3+ years of Python development experience
• Proficiency with Flask – RESTful API design, middleware, blueprints, app factory pattern
• Proficiency with FastAPI – async endpoints, dependency injection, Pydantic models, OpenAPI documentation
• Experience with SQLAlchemy – ORM modeling, query optimization, relationship mapping
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (pytest)
• 3+ years of React development experience
• Experience with Kendo UI for React
• Strong understanding of component lifecycle, hooks, and state management (Redux, Context API, Zustand)
• Experience building responsive, accessible, and performant UIs
• Experience integrating TypeScript in React projects
• Solid understanding of RESTful API and JSON-RPC 2.0 design principles
• Experience with Git version control (branching strategies, PRs, code reviews)
• Strong debugging, profiling, and performance optimization skills
• String understanding of shell scripting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Mathematics, Science, Operations, or a related field.

Pay and Benefits:

• Pay Range Min: $110,000/ year
• Pay Range Max: $125,000/ year
