Job summary

Robotic Technologies Automation seeks a Python Fullstack Lead with deep expertise in Python, distributed systems, cloud-native architecture, and microservices. The candidate should have hands-on React and TypeScript experience to guide front-end integration with backend services.

You will design cloud-native microservices, define API contracts, and lead architecture decisions across REST/GraphQL, messaging, and security. Prior eCommerce exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design cloud-native microservices with DDD and well-defined boundaries.
• Define high/low level designs, API contracts, and integration patterns.
• Craft REST/gRPC APIs, API gateways, auth, versioning, and security.
• Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka or cloud messaging.
• Apply distributed patterns like Saga, CQRS, Outbox, and retries.
• Build scalable solutions with Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless services.
• Enforce IAM/OAuth2/JWT/mTLS and secure secret management.
• Set frontend standards for React/TypeScript and BFF layering.
• Experience in eCommerce domains and composable components is a plus.

Job description

We are seeking a Python Fullstack Lead with deep expertise in Python, distributed systems, cloud-native architecture, and microservices. The candidate must have in-depth expertise in at least one major cloud platform — AWS, Azure, or GCP and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, resilient, secure, and production-ready architectures. The candidate should also have hands-on experience with React and TypeScript to guide front-end architecture and its integration with backend services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design cloud-native microservices using Python, applying Domain-Driven Design (DDD), appropriate service boundaries, and loosely coupled architectures.
• Define HLD/LLD, API contracts, service interactions, data ownership, integration patterns, and architecture standards.
• Design REST/gRPC APIs, API gateways, authentication/authorization, versioning, rate limiting, idempotency, and backward compatibility.
• Design event-driven and asynchronous architectures using Kafka or cloud-native messaging services; address ordering, retries, duplicate messages, DLQs, replay, and eventual consistency.
• Apply distributed-systems patterns including Saga, CQRS, Outbox, Circuit Breaker, Retry/Backoff, Bulkhead, and distributed caching.
• Design highly available and scalable solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, serverless and managed cloud services.
• Ensure application and infrastructure security using IAM/RBAC, OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, mTLS, secrets management, encryption
• Define front-end architecture standards for React and TypeScript applications, including component design, state management, and integration with backend microservices via REST/GraphQL APIs or Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) layers.
• Ideal candidate should have worked on an eCommerce domain and have basic ideas on composable package components in eCommerce like headless CMS, headless search etc and have hands on experience integrating them via backend services.

Technical Requirements

• Python 3.x, FastAPI/Flask/Django, asyncio, concurrency, type hints, testing, profiling and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with React and TypeScript, including hooks, state management (e.g., Redux, React Query), component-based architecture, front-end performance optimization, and testing.
• Expert-level knowledge of AWS OR Azure OR GCP (AWS will be preferred), including compute, containers/Kubernetes, API Gateways, networking, IAM/security, databases, messaging, storage, monitoring and serverless capabilities.
• Strong understanding of designing and implementing event driven architecture using a cloud provider leveraging patterns like fan out (Eventbridge, SNS, SQS / Kinesis in case of AWS) with proper message / data redundancy and fall back mechanisms.
• Strong SQL and database design skills with PostgreSQL/MySQL/Oracle plus experience with NoSQL technologies such as DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cosmos DB, Cassandra or equivalent.
• Experience working with AI tools would be a plus
• Experience with retail/e-commerce, high-volume transaction processing, multi-region architectures.
• Strong understanding of system design, distributed systems, scalability, resilience, security and production operations
