Job summary

VTekis Consulting LLP is seeking a Full Stack Engineer specializing in Python to join our client-facing teams in New York. You will design and build scalable backend services, integrate REST APIs, and contribute to distributed systems using modern microservices patterns.

The ideal candidate has strong Python development experience in enterprise settings, familiarity with Kafka and WebSocket-driven real-time data, and comfort with Git-based workflows in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Python application development in enterprise environments.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs using frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, Django REST Framework, or similar.
• Experience working with Oracle databases, including SQL query development, optimization, and database design.
• Experience with WebSocket technologies for real-time data communication.
• Knowledge of Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture patterns.
• Experience with Hazelcast, distributed caching, or in-memory data grid technologies.
• Understanding of software design patterns, object-oriented programming, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with source control systems such as Git.
