Job Title: Python Full Stack Engineer
Location: Plano, TX (3 days onsite)

Role & responsibilities

• Role focused on building small, fast solutions that reduce engineering toil for other internal teams; work is typically scoped and shipped in weeks rather than months.
• Individual contributors receive independent tasks most of the time; occasional pairing or short cross?collaboration happens when unblocking teammates.
• Typical work includes designing and implementing APIs, creating schemas and data sets, building or modifying data pipelines, and producing demos prior to rollout.
• Engineers also handle CI/CD, vulnerability/compliance remediation, and L1/L2 troubleshooting as part of regular responsibilities.
• Expect frequent interaction with multiple source teams to gather requirements and build buy?in; strong communication skills are important.

Tech stack & required skills

• Primary languages and tools: Python (preferred), Go (legacy/mentioned), React for front?end tasks, SQL, REST APIs, and CI/CD tooling.
• Work distribution estimate: ~50% API + data, ~25% CI/CD / vulnerability & compliance, ~25% front?end / bugfix / support; front?end is <25% of role.
• Legacy Java work exists only in maintenance/bug?fix mode; new development is in Python.
• AWS familiarity required at a conceptual/service level (managed infra); awareness of new cloud services is a plus.

Agentic AI & tooling

• Team leverages agentic AI tools (notably Cloud Code) plus other assistive tools like GitHub Copilot and Windsurf to accelerate development.
• Prior hands?on experience building or integrating agentic AI solutions is strongly preferred; demonstrated work with these tools is more important than years of experience.
• Candidates should be able to leverage AI tools to learn missing skills quickly while maintaining strong judgement when engaging stakeholders.

Pay Range: $80 - $90/hr

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
