Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies is seeking a Python Developer for a 12‑month hybrid role in Newark, NJ. You will design and implement backend services, build RESTful APIs, and collaborate with business partners to translate needs into scalable solutions.

You will work with AWS, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable deployments, code quality, and timely delivery, while adhering to Prudential standards where applicable.

Qualifications

• Solid backend development experience using Java/Python and RESTful API design.
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs and microservices architectures.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, API Gateway, Lambda).
• Working knowledge of containerization using Docker and deployment to AWS ECS (or EKS).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments in AWS environments.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts (VPC, IAM, load balancing, auto scaling).
• Proficiency with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or NoSQL) and query optimization.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch).
