Our client is seeking a Senior Developer to join their team in Jersey City. You will work on developing object-oriented solutions using Python, RESTful APIs, and Angular, while integrating with databases such as Oracle (Exadata) and no-SQL stores.

Job Title: Python Developer

Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 remote)

Employment Type: Contract (12+ months)

Pay: $68/hr

Work Authorization

• W2 Only
• H1B candidates accepted if willing to transfer to Experis W2
• No C2C or third parties – this includes hourly referrals
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Develop object-oriented software using Python and other OO languages (Java, C++, C#).
• Build RESTful web services and data-grid centric UIs using Angular.
• Design and enhance SQL databases and queries.
• Develop data transfer tools from no-SQL to Oracle databases.
• Contribute to Agile software development and full SDLC.
  
  

Requirements

• 6+ years of object-oriented programming experience.
• 3+ years of Python development.
• Strong SQL database design and tuning skills.
• Experience with REST APIs, Angular (15.x+), and Git.
• Knowledge of financial instruments or price verification is a plus.
• Exposure to grid computing, object-oriented databases, or TDD is desirable.
