Job Description

Phoenix Cyber is seeking security-focused Python programmers to develop custom plugins and third-party integrations for cybersecurity software. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing data models, index structures, storage strategies, log ingestion and normalization using tools like Elasticsearch and Splunk, data enrichment, and querying big data.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of strong Python programming experience
• Experience in developing Python libraries
• Experience with REST and SOAP APIs
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD, and development tools
• Experience with cloud infrastructure in AWS and/or Azure
• Degree in STEM or 5+ years of cybersecurity experience

Nice to Have

• Experience with SOAR tools, ELK stack, Kafka, and Splunk
• Database modeling experience, especially with MongoDB
• Configuration management skills with Ansible, Terraform, etc.
• Containerization experience with Docker, Kubernetes
• Linux administration
• Active (ISC)2 CISSP certification
