Innova Solutions seeks a Python developer for a contract role in Pennington, NJ, to modernize risk systems and migrate Intraday/EOD use cases into Quartz Risk Engine. The candidate will collaborate with EQ Derivs trading, operations, and platform teams, design scope, and reconcile risk numbers.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in tech development, 2+ years in front-office derivatives risk, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technology development experience.
• 2+ years in development of front-office derivatives risk.
• Computer science or equivalent degree.
• Experience with designing and developing complex multi-threaded server-side functionality (Core Java).
• Experience with Java frameworks (Spring, Hibernate).
• Testing: unit/integration/acceptance tests; agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new features within existing Python services.
• Contribute to future design and architecture.
• Plan work in an agile manner with team members.
• Write acceptance tests with QA.
• Provide L3 user support.
• Communicate with business and platform partners.
• Improve CI pipeline and deployment strategies.
