About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Python Development Tech Lead to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in leading agile execution for fast-paced prototyping initiatives and development projects focused on AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, technical expertise in Python, and a passion for innovation. You will be responsible for guiding a cross-functional team comprising engineers, data scientists, AI specialists, and designers to rapidly design, build, and refine AI applications under tight deadlines. Your leadership will ensure that development processes are efficient, collaborative, and aligned with project goals, fostering an environment of continuous experimentation and learning.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have at least five years of experience in technical leadership roles, with a strong background in Python development. A solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies is essential, along with experience managing cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments. Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills are required to effectively coordinate with stakeholders and team members. Preferred qualifications include experience in AI or machine learning, familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and exposure to experimentation-driven development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Python development team by providing technical guidance, performing hands-on design and coding, and delegating tasks effectively to ensure timely delivery.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, emphasizing speed, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Identify and remove impediments swiftly to maintain the momentum of rapid prototyping and development cycles.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, AI engineers, data scientists, and designers to align project priorities and sprint objectives.
• Promote and adapt agile best practices suitable for experimental and iterative AI development environments.
• Monitor sprint progress, velocity, and deliverables, providing transparent updates and reports to stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation within the team, encouraging rapid experimentation and learning.
• Assist in backlog grooming, ensuring user stories are well-defined, actionable, and aligned with project goals.
• Manage shifting priorities and evolving project requirements typical of AI research and prototyping efforts.
• Encourage iterative releases, rapid experimentation, and continuous learning to accelerate development cycles.
