Responsibilities

• Developed serverless applications using AWS Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB, enabling scalable and cost‑effective data processing solutions
• Designed and configured Amazon Connect to enhance customer support services, including custom contact flows, IVR setup, and integration with DynamoDB
• Implemented comprehensive monitoring using AWS CloudWatch and Splunk, creating dashboards and alerts to proactively manage system health and reduce incident response times
• Implemented the latest company testing standards by utilizing Gherkin syntax and Jira X‑Ray for Behavior‑Driven Development (BDD), streamlining test automation and enhancing traceability, code quality, and consistency across the team
• Developed automated solutions for regional isolation and regional failover, enabling seamless shifting of workloads between AWS regions to improve application reliability and minimize downtime in the event of regional disruptions
• Automated repetitive BAU tasks using Python and shell scripts, reducing manual effort and errors while improving operational efficiency across the team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math Engineering (any), or related
• Two (2) years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Consultant, SAP Consultant, SQL Consultant, or related occupation
• Two (2) years of experience designing and implementing Python code using the Django framework, SaaS Platform, and building wireframes
• 1 year of experience in maintaining and debugging Social Capital Report Platform
• Must be willing to travel and relocate domestically as needed; job location is San Diego, CA, and unanticipated client sites across the US
